My sons pc has been shutting down for the last two days randomly after Windows 11 update. I bought my OMEN 30L Desktop with Windows 11 already installed on it. I was able to workaround the issue for a while by using MSI Afterburner to underclock the memory and clock by 200mhz, which made game performance worse but at least prevented it from shutting off. My laptop is up to date and have the latest bios version Sep 5, 2021 · Some time after the update incident the real problem starts, when I game my computer will occasionally randomly shut down without warning like the power has been pulled, when I go to power it back up, the LEDs and fans come on for 1-5 seconds before shutting right down again, this repeats several times until it powers on correctly with no problems. After a few times of shutting on/off, the computer seems to be fine to use for a couple of hours before it randomly shuts down by itself again. .
